The purpose of the "Wichita First Friday Munch" is to create an atmosphere and environment within which anyone over 18 years old may learn more about and participate in the BDSM, fetish, leather, and alternate lifestyle community in Wichita and surrounding areas. We are not a club, there is no Yahoo Group, and there are no memberships or pre-requirements of any kind. We are pansexual, panfetish, and recognize and encourage all aspects of the "alternate" lifestyle, all sexual fetishes and deviations, and all sexual orientations and identities. The primary qualification to attend our munches is a sincere desire to meet other like-minded people, and further your journey into the BDSM, fetish, leather and alternate lifestyle. The Wichita First Friday Munch provides a familiar structure for persons who have many years experience in the BDSM/fetish lifestyle, as well as being an appropriate "entry level" environment for those just getting started on their BDSM/fetish journey. We don't offer educational demonstrations or classes, but we do provide a great atmosphere within which to dine, meet fellow kinksters, and indulge in dungeon play at any level of experience or intensity. We meet on the first Friday of every month. This gives us all an opportunity to meet-and-greet, enjoy supper together, and share stories about our adventures in the alternate lifestyle. After supper we retire for BDSM play, or further fellowship and chat. It is not necessary for you to have a partner to attend the First Friday Munch. Unattached and single persons are welcome and encouraged. We also encourage area BDSM, fetish, leather and alternate lifestyle groups and clubs to come join us. This gives other groups in the area a great opportunity to promote their own club, provide information about their events, distribute flyers, and spread information about who they are and what they provide to the Wichita alternate lifestyle community. Any club, group leader or alternate lifestyle organization may also provide us with literature, business cards, etc., and we would be delighted to distribute them at the First Friday Munch and promote your event or organization. The Board of Directors of 1740, Inc. reserves the right to decline such offers for any reason at any time. Attendance at the First Friday Munch is strictly by invitation and RSVP only.
